Mete (Kerem Bürsin) is the unruly, irresponsible, and spoiled son of a rich father. Tired of his son's endless escapades and wanting to put a stop to them, his father gives him an unusual punishment. Mete is sent to a fictional village in the 16th-century Ottoman Empire, where he is forced to live as a stableman, believing he has traveled through time.
