Payitaht Abdülhamid

Payitaht Abdülhamid is a Turkish historical, fictional, action, and drama television series produced by Es Film. Directed by Serdar Akar, with a screenplay by Uğur Uzunok, Ayça Mutlugil, and Hamza Akyıldız, the series began airing on TRT 1 on February 24, 2017. The show is set during the last 13 years of the reign of the 34th Ottoman Sultan, Abdülhamid II (1896-1909). Consisting of five seasons, the series concluded with its 154th episode on June 4, 2021. In the 20th year of his reign, Sultan Abdülhamid Han wages a great struggle against those who seek to destroy the state. The series follows Abdülhamid's ongoing war to make the state prosperous and rescue it from the vice the enemies have trapped it in. Payitaht Abdülhamid tells the story of one of the most fascinating periods in history.
